Assassin's Creed Introduces Bizarre Attack on Titan Collaboration for Thanksgiving
In a bizarre partnership that challenges traditional predictions, Ubisoft has revealed an in-game crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual holiday event runs from November 25 through December 22, including complimentary additional story content for Shadows players.
Strange Questline Uncovered
According to the authorized statement, "A strange encounter leads protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a original adventure, where hints of banned practices and monstrous changes echo through the darkness." The narrative introduces a "oddly attired woman named Ada" who charges the duo with traveling into the Crystal Cave—a key location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her companion from a hidden sect.
The mission centers on "bizarre trials and a fearsome adversary" and is accessible to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.
Recognizable Locations and Changes
The teaser showcases the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This important location was formerly where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through ages. The trailer concludes with a dramatic sequence showing a character, presumably the captive, transforming into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.
Unique Rewards and Bonus Features
Players who accomplish the adventure will receive an unique katana in addition to numerous objects concealed throughout the area in hidden chests. The update also features in-store Attack on Titan item packs, including:
